Academies
The career academies are designed for students with strong academic skills who plan to pursue a baccalaureate education. The mission of the academies is to provide a challenging curriculum in a technology-infused, structured learning environment. Studies are multi-disciplinary with technology integrated throughout each program. Students are afforded the opportunity to earn college credits through the Middlesex County College High School Scholars program.

Schools-within-Schools
Our Vocational Technical High Schools in East Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Piscataway and Woodbridge offer occupational programs using a School-Within-A-Schools (SWS) format. Career theme majors or specialties become the focus of a particular “School.” This model places students into small learning communities while using the resources of the larger existing facilities. These small learning communities enhance student performance and achievement. SWS offer a theme or focus that is designed to give students an opportunity to explore a special interest, talent or skill.
