students who apply participate in a selective admissions process.
The process considers middle school grades, and a
MCASMET developed assessment in language arts and mathematics and writing. The number of applicants
to the Academy has increased each year since the school’s inception in
September 2000 and each subsequent year reflects a strong competition for a
very limited number of seats.
Students with the approval of their parents or guardians may submit an application to the Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics and Engineering Technologies High School.
