Interact is a club for young people ages 12-18 who want to join together to tackle the issues in their community that they care most about. Through Interact, you can:
- Carry out hands-on service projects
- Make international connections
- Develop leadership skills
- Have fun!
If you or your student is interested in these concepts, please consider joining our club!
Recent projects we have done include the daily reading of morning announcements in our school community, serving as school-ambassadors during Parents Nights and at the Taste of Piscataway, service projects that resulted in crafts donated to the Children's wing of Robert Wood Johnson hospital, and running a 5K to support the service of homeless individuals in New Brunswick, New Jersey. We also partnered with the Rotary Club this past June and participated in the American Cancer Society "Relay for Life". In working with the Piscataway Chapter of the Rotary Club, we helped to raise $1500+ dollars to help fund cancer research and to offer support to those who financially struggle because a loved one has developed cancer. Way to go Interact Members!
