Guidance
The counseling program at the Middlesex County Academy is comprehensive, coordinated and proactive. It is a vital part of the educational experience afforded students.
The program consists of integrated activities of the school counselor in cooperation with the entire school community. Our program provides the students with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to effectively cope with daily life and to make decisions about secondary education and career majors, and to provide educational support and planning for students entering the world of work or post-secondary education. The school counselor focuses on providing services and activities in four areas: admissions, counseling, placement and post secondary planning.

Fostering Success All graduates have been accepted at very prestigious two and four-year colleges and universities. While our students indicated they enjoyed learning about careers in their chosen career field, a number of seniors express an interest in changing career fields or pursuing other interests in college. Because the curriculum is broad and academically challenging, they are well prepared for many careers and have many options.
