School Report Card
Academics
Our school offers courses in both college preparatory and general academic tracks. Through the simultaneous offering of both academic and career majors, students receive the comprehensive educational experience they need to be prepared and productive in the 21st century.
Career Programs
The Piscataway Campus clusters career majors into Schools-Within-a-School to provide students with cross content learning experiences, projects, and mini courses resulting in increased student interest and high level achievement. The Piscataway Campus currently houses the following career programs:
- School of Automotive Technology
- School of Culinary Arts
- School of Cosmetology/Hairstyling
- School of Career Development
- School of Business and Computer Technology
- School of Design and Fabrication
Continued Success
Our vocational programs have been updated with current technology under the direction of key business and industry leaders who assist our school in raising entry-level skills in our students. Students use computer technology directly related to their career major that aids them in the mastery of occupational skills. This training has led to student success in our Cooperative Education Program and job placement of our graduates. In addition, 26 separate colleges and post-secondary schools have articulation agreements with us, allowing our high school programs to meet the academic and occupational standards of the post-secondary programs.
Extracurricular Activities
The Piscataway Campus has five varsity interscholastic teams: soccer, basketball (boys and girls), baseball and softball. In addition, we have a junior varsity boy’s basketball team. We currently hold membership in the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association, the Greater Middlesex Conference and the New Jersey Technical League.
