Principal's Corner

Welcome to the Woodbridge Campus which has officially opened as the Middlesex County Academy for Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences as of  September, 2008. The Academy  serves approximately 190 students in grades 9-12. The Academy is a four year, full time high school dedicated to advancing the education of students in Middlesex County. The Academy's intent is to increase the number of students who are interested and well prepared to succeed in biomedical sciences and allied health careers. The school is committed to increasing the diversity of the professional and technical biomedical and health sciences workforce.

The Academy offers a wide range of mandatory and elective academic courses. Over the course of their high school career, students may earn college credits at a variety of New Jersey colleges, including the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey(UMDNJ) and Middlesex County College. The Middlesex County Academy for Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences is a college preparatory high school with a career theme emphasis on allied health and biomedical sciences. All academic courses are offered on an honors basis. The faculty at the Academy is a dedicated group of professionals who challenge and inspire our students. Their knowledge  and expertise provides students with the skills that they will need in order to compete in our world.

We consider parents to be partners in the educational process and strongly encourage parent participation through volunteering in the classroom or for special events; as well as in strategically supporting school work at home. There are many opportunities for involvement and we look forward to partnering with you this year.
