Driver Education 10

Sophomore Health covers driver education theory. Students review the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles Driving manual as preparation for taking the state written test for a driving permit. Drug and alcohol education are included as part of learning to be a careful, responsible driver.

Physical Education 10

New Jersey statue (NJSA 18A:  35-7) requires every student ot complete a year of Physical Education and Health for every year of enrollment in grades 9-12.

Instruction in and knowledge of a variety of activities such as team sports, individual sports, physical fitness and conditioning, games of organization and recreational and lifetime activities. Students learn the fundamentals and rules of these activities and learn practical health essentials.
