Health Education 12

Health Education 12 includes units on environmental health, basic first aid and safety and marriage and the family. The course also addresses consumerism in terms of appropriate health and fitness products. The chemical health units focuses on helping students appreciate the significance of a drug-free life and the positive influence it fosters in attaining personal goals and aspirations.

Physical Education 12

New Jersey statue (NJSA 18A:  35-7) requires every student to complete a year of Physical Education and Health for every year of enrollment in grades 9-12.

Instruction in and knowledge of a variety of activities such as team sports, individual sports, physical fitness and conditioning, games of organization and recreational and lifetime activities. Student's learn the fundamentals and rules of these activities and learn practical health essentials.
