Environmental Science (5 periods, 5 credits)
Environmental science is a general science course designed to provide students with a balanced approach to the diverse study of the environment. Some of the topics covered are ecosystems, water, air, land and population growth.
Chemistry with laboratory component, College Prep (6 periods, 6 credits)-Elective
Prerequisite: Algebra I, Geometry and 2 years of High School Science including Biology.
This is a lab orientated course for college bound students. Major concepts considered are properties, classification and reactions of matter, atomic theory, bonding and periodic properties and dynamics. The major portion of the course is devoted to practical and applied aspects of chemistry.
