     Metuchen, NJ
    Aidan Benderly is the oldest of four in a family from Metuchen, New Jersey. He attends the Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Technologies. He is a multi-sport varsity athlete, playing soccer and tennis and has been named to the all division teams for both sports. He is also a national level fencer, a talented musician and percussionist, as well as a devoted scholar. In his free time he enjoys reading and watching science-fiction.  He is not sure where he is going to college yet, but plans to major in Electrical Engineering and hopefully participate in a co-op program. 
  • Ajay Kumar

    Edison, NJ
    From a very young age, Ajay Kumar has been interested in anything relating to machines or computers. At the Academy, he studies in electrical/computer engineering, where he has learned much relating to both programming and the construction of circuits. With this knowledge, he has joined two robotics teams: Six Sigma Robotics, the Academy Vex team, as well as Watts Up?, a part of Say Watt Robotics that participates in the First Tech Challenge. He plans to study Computer Science, and use what he learns to help people.  He sees great opportunity for the use of computers and robots in the medical field, and wants to make it a reality.
  • Mehak Vij
    Monroe, NJ 
    Mehak Vij is a student at the Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Technologies. Mehak is an active member in many clubs including Red Cross, UNICEF, FBLA, soccer, and Student Government. In addition to pursuing the Electrical Computer Engineering Track at her high school, Mehak enjoys computer science and has organized a hackathon of her own. She plans on majoring in computer science in college with a possible minor in mathematics or finance. In her free time, Mehak enjoys playing soccer, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.
