  • Anthony Wang
    Edison, NJ
A member of the Academy family, from Edison, and with Taiwanese roots, Anthony Wang is a Civil/Mechanical Engineering student striving for greatness. While concentrating on the STEM subjects at the Academy, he developed an appreciation for history and the arts – and seeks to find an area of study combining both STEM and the humanities. A leader of the school’s quiz bowl team and History Bowl Club, his drive to become a better quiz/history bowl player contributed to success at tournaments including nationals qualifications and several first place finishes. In connecting with his roots, Anthony has studied Chinese at Tzu Chi Academy’s Northern New Jersey School for twelve years, graduating in June of 2016. As he looks toward his future, Anthony retains his interest in clubs/activities not limited to the scope of: yearbook editing, soccer, basketball (he is a two-time Academy Three Point Contest Champion), academic trivia, and STEM. In the fall of 2017, Anthony will be taking his talents to Illinois as a member of Northwestern University’s Class of 2021.
