    Zarir Hamza was born on December 10, 1999 in the Bronx before moving to New Jersey where he has resided in Middlesex County for almost all of his life. Before attending the Academy for Engineering, he attended Noor-Ul-Iman, a religious private school from 2nd to 8th grade. He has volunteered in a variety of places from Helping Hand Inc to Liberty Science Center and was even nominated for the volunteer of the year at the latter. In the future, Zarir wishes to study electrical engineering and hopes to one day have a job as a cybersecurity specialist.

    Kelley Chau is currently a senior at the Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Technologies as a Electronics and Computer Engineering major. She plans to continue on this path and major in computer science in college to become a computer programmer or AI researcher. In school, she is a Safety Ambassador and an active member of the school’s science league team, Girl Up Club, soccer team, and Technology Student Association. Outside of school, she volunteers for Liberty Science Center and enjoys journaling, singing, and reading books about the world around us.
