  • Shankar Kohli
    Manalapan, NJ


    Shankar Kohli is a senior at the Edison Academy for Math, Science, and Engineering Technologies. He studies civil/mechanical engineering at the academy and is a part of the C/ME Design Club, soccer team, and is the vice president of the Chess Club. In his free time, Shankar likes to play basketball, the clarinet, and the sax. He is interested in physics, coding, and engineering and hopes to major in computer science to eventually work in an aerospace field.


  • Kamakashi Sharma
    North Brunswick, NJ


    Kamakashi Sharma is a senior at the Middlesex County Academy. She is the president of her school’s Do Something chapter and Book Club. She is also the Chief of Layout for the school’s newspaper as well as a member of her school’s National Honors Society. Outside these club roles, Kamakashi spends a good amount of her free time volunteering or teaching. When she’s not at the hospital or her dance class, she can be found writing, enjoying her rock music and action movies, or spending time with her brother. Later this year, she will be pursuing a pre-med track with a major in neuroscience. In the future, Kamakashi hopes to become a medical scientist with a speciality in neuroscience and psychology.

    Surya Venkatram is a senior at the Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Technologies in the Civil and Mechanical Engineering career path. In college, he looks to pursue his passion of many years and study aerospace engineering. In school, he serves as the president of the Startups Club, and participates in the Future Business Leaders of America club. He also was the captain of the Junior Varsity soccer team at the Academy, and plays for the Edison High School tennis team. In his free time, he enjoys watching The Late Show and playing basketball.
