    This Program prepares students for certification and state licensing programs such as Home Health Aide or Medical Assistant. Instruction will include first aid, CPR, transcribing medical and nursing orders, sterilization, nutrition, patient care, and more. In eleventh grade, students will complete clinical hours and prepare to take the Certified Nursing Assistant Exam. Graduates enter the healthcare profession with their CNA license, or may continue their education at a University.

    Health Technology

    This program will prepare students for entry into licensing programs such as Licensed Practical Nurse, physical or occupational therapist, dietitian, radiologist, or nursing studies. Instruction will include first aid, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, disease, clinical diagnostic, safety and sanitary procedures, nutrition, patient care, communication and more.

    Physical Therapy and Exercise Science

    This program will prepare you for the educational journey that is necessary to become a Doctor in Physical Therapy. The program will be filled with anatomy and physiology, exercise science, kinesiology, neurology and ethics. We will incorporate real world clinical scenarios that include all areas of physical therapy practice including sports, neurology, wound care, cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, orthopedics, women's health, and pediatrics. Upon graduation from MCVTS you will be marketable to be employed as a Physical Therapy Aide. MCVTS is currently working with postsecondary institutions to develop articulation agreements for students in this program to earn college credits.
