• Final Exams

     June 19-June 25, 2019

    All students must take final exams.  The final exam schedule is below.  Exemption information follows:

    Qualifications for Final Exam Exemption

    Academic Courses
    Any student receiving a grade of “A-” i.e., numerical grade of 90 or above for each of the four marking periods for a year-long course or for each of the two marking periods for a semester course will be exempt from taking the final exam in that course.

    Career Majors
    Students in grades 9 & 10 receiving a grade of “A” for each of the four marking periods in a career major course will be exempt from taking the final exam in that course. Students in grade 11 will be required to take an end of program assessment in their career major; if they meet or exceed the established norm for the assessment they will be exempt from taking a teacher-made final exam. Students in grade 12 who have already met or exceeded the established norm for the end of program assessment in their career major will be exempt from the teacher-made final exam. Students in grade 12 who have not yet successfully passed the end of program assessment in their career major will take it again, and if they do not meet the norm will sit for a teacher-made final exam.
