On Saturday, October 20th, approximately 725 parents, students, and visitors attended Open House at the Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics and Engineering Technologies. Visitors lined up at the back of Middlesex County College's Crabiel Hall, and Academy students and parents were on hand to answer any questions the visitors might have. One hundred visitors were let in at a time into the Brunswick Room in Crabiel Hall where they heard a presentation from Assistant Principal Amro Mosaad, Guidance Counselor Richard Fernandez, and senior students representing the school's two career majors - Civil & Mechanical Engineering and Computer & Electrical Engineering. Open House visitors were then led to the Academy building where they were greeted by students, given a colored-coded ticket for their tour group and given a presentation by Principal John Jeffries. Open House visitors were then taken on a student-led tour through the building, each starting at one of four different locations. The application for the Class of 2023 and more information on admissions can be found here.
